Avoid! Prices have doubled in a year.

Avoid!!!! Until today, I would have highly rated the service here. Recommended them to anyone who asked for a good reputable tyre fitter. Well priced and a good job done. Last year I had 4 tyres fitted for £40, the same one or two times previous to that, all for the same price. This time he charged £80, stating that the price of fitting, balancing, etc came to a total of £23 per corner, he was gracious enough to give me a discount of £3 per corner... Apparently this is the going rate for the service now. Which isn't quite correct. Having contacted multiple places nearby, here's some of thier prices for the same service. Kmc tyres - £25 Tread shed - £45 Modern tyres - £40 Philip white tyres - £40 Ken himself, arrogant attitude on the phone aside, was unable to justify charging double what his competition is. I regretted trusting him not to have doubled his prices and will be avoiding this place like the plague
