Our Story
Born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines I was very well supported by family and friends as I followed the channels through schools and college. With the concept of independence I took to teaching, but being excited about the "small world" that I was commanded to "go into" I migrated to the UK.
Working and caring for family is certainly not for the faint hearted especially when one gets up in the morning and await a phone call from a school asking if you are available to work "today" or "some day or days in the coming week or month". Yes, I can live with that, but being able to maintain a family on casual occasional work and sporadic income is out of the question.
It was birthday time and an appropriate gift for this occasion was a bottle of choice perfume. I went to the shops and found as usual it was high varied prices so I took to the internet. Deal or no deal, the prices are just as competitive as the high streets. I had to buy, I had to wrap and present but there was no work for the whole month.
I started to investigate how to get reasonable prices and this was by buying more than we actually wanted and outside of the region. Believe it or not, we could not keep or use all, so after much deliberation we decided to trade.
Trading means investing more, reaching out and getting involved. So thanks to friends, family and enthusiastic students, we are not just a name but also your friendly reasonable traders.
